Program Description

Sheridan is well-known as a leader in design education. Learn from professors who have strong academic backgrounds and extensive industry experience in built environments. They'll teach you how to apply software skills to create visualizations of urban environments. You'll also study concepts of mobility, wayfinding, placemaking, ecology and more. Cities need designers who understand the built environment. This eight-month graduate certificate responds to that demand, teaching you to design inclusive and sustainable solutions that connect and integrate urban landscapes. Sheridan is one of the few colleges in Canada to offer this niche training, which is traditionally taught in master's level studies.
