The institution transformed into a university in 2005 and adopted its current name, Bath Spa University in the same year (August 2005). The main campus of Bath Spa University is located at Newton Park, which is the largest and oldest site of the institution. The University Library remains open 24 hours and holds a wide collection of resources in printed and digital forms to be accessed by both the faculty members and the students.
