Program Description

Gonzaga's Civil Engineering program combines technical excellence, experiential and project-based learning, and the Jesuit 'care of the whole person' to give you the tools and knowledge to serve civilization. If you want to design and construct the necessary infrastructure to allow modern society to function sustainably such as roads, pedestrian and bike facilities, bridges, dams, tunnels, buildings, airports, water and wastewater reclamation systems, or other large infrastructure projects, Gonzaga's ABET-accredited and nationally ranked civil engineering degree program will help you succeed. Our program fosters strong academic relationships between students and faculty. In small classes, hands-on experiences in labs and in the field, real-world capstone senior design project experiences, and independent research opportunities, you'll be guided by professors with deep academic and real-world industry experience.
