Program Description

The 120 credit hour Criminology & Justice Studies major at Avila University is viewed broadly as encompassing the scientific study of crime, criminals, the criminal justice system, crime prevention, and the treatment of offenders. The program is interdisciplinary and integrative in nature, drawing upon several academic disciplines and paradigms for theoretical and methodological approaches.
