Program Description
TWU’s biology department prepares students to work and lead in fields such as biotechnology, health sciences, and environmental science. The biology program combines both theoretical and practical learning. In lectures, students gain knowledge from highly skilled professors who are involved in their areas of research. In addition, students are presented with many work and practicum opportunities through TWU.

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
