Music(B.A) Hartwick College

Program Description

Students in the music program at Hartwick enjoy close mentoring and a collaborative atmosphere where students and faculty perform, study, and learn together.Students supplement their academic programs with practica and student teaching experiences across all four years of study at Hartwick. These experiences cover all facets of PK-12 music education and offer Hartwick students a wide range of teaching experience prior to graduation. Students also take advantage of studying music abroad, including Arts Administration in Italy, advanced performance and ensemble skills in Austria, folk fiddling in Ireland, and music in Bolivia.
