Program Description

The Faculty of Education provides an empowering, learner-centered environment. Our mission is shaped by a commitment to equity and social justice. Our professors’ goal is to promote your professional and scholarly growth as a reflective, caring, competent and innovative educator. We are dedicated to helping teacher candidates, graduate students and in-service teachers learn to:Think critically about the nature of teaching and learning,Develop the dispositions and habits of mind to adapt to the changing nature of the classroom. This program is offered jointly over five years by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Education, in co-operation with St. Clair College. The aim is to provide the opportunity and preparation to individuals who wish to teach at the preschool and primary-junior levels.

Study and Work in Canada
