Program Description

In the current business environment, professionals have much more responsibility. Today, they are leaders and managers. Indeed, one of the major challenges they face is managing complex projects that are critical to their business organizations. In the first year of the Advanced Project Management & Strategic Leadership program, students will gain skills in project management and business leadership. The program includes all 10 project management knowledge areas based on the PMI® A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Sixth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2017. During the second year of the program, studies go beyond the mechanics of the project and explore the dynamics of managing relationships. The scope of the third term includes stakeholder, client and executive relationship management, organizational culture and cultural pluralism and leading the project team in the project environment. Lastly, in the full-time work term or applied project students gain experience in a project-based work environment.
