Program Description

Students will acquire theoretical knowledge and essential practical application skills required for a rewarding career in Public Safety, Policing or Criminal Justice.Program Highlights Follow guidelines set by the Ministry of the Solicitor General for the Province of Ontario Upon completion of a common first year, you may choose to transfer into second year of one of the following programs: Community and Justice Services Protection, Security and Investigation Acquire use of force knowledge, skills and abilities including tactical communication Gain valuable experience during co-op work terms. Applicants are advised that there are specific requirements that must be completed prior to participating in a co-op placement. Develop health, wellness, fitness and stress reduction skills relevant to emergency service careers Focus on physical fitness, training and wellness planning in order to prepare the applicant for the fitness requirements for various careers in law enforcement.
