Program Description
Uncover how the human body operates. Discover new and innovative ways to treat and cure diseases. This specialization provides a strong background in areas relevant to medicine within the field of biology. Students can pursue combined degrees in other disciplines such as psychology, anthropology, etc. Courses include human anatomy and physiology, cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, infectious diseases, histology, developmental biology, and biomedical internship. In addition, students can choose elective courses from the Social Sciences or Humanities, and from other disciplines. Pursue a career in fields such as biomedical, chiropractic, dentistry, physiotherapy, human and veterinary medicine, naturopathy, teaching, laboratory technologist, and so much more!
