Program Description
Interdisciplinary Humanities combines the disciplines to analyze significant aspects of Western culture, including those that are rooted in, are impacted by, and/or are challenges to a Christian world view. The MA in Interdisciplinary Humanities will take you on an academic expedition through three related disciplines: English, Philosophy, and History. Delve into the foundation of what it means to be human, considering major perspectives on humanity’s purpose along the way. Whether you are a scholar, educator, or professional, this program will augment your intellectual toolkit, sharpen your critical thinking, and deepen your personal awareness and professional purpose. Trinity Western’s MAIH is uniquely positioned to help you navigate the spiritual or faith- based dimension of literary, philosophical, and historical thought, generating a more holistic understanding of your field of study. Enjoy the diverse and flexible learning environment and the exceptional faculty mentorship that makes TWU’s MAIH one of Canada’s most creative and vibrant interdisciplinary MA programs.
