Program Description
The Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) focusses on health and the inclusion of social aspects of health in the core curriculum to build the knowledge and prerequisites for entry into health-related fields of study and employment. The BHSc offers a route for entry to professional health programs (e.g. medicine, dentistry, genetic counselling, physician assistant), or graduate studies in biomedical fields. This program will create a broad, comprehensive understanding of the factors that affect health, provide students with interdisciplinary background and skill set for a future in health-related careers, and a solid academic foundation in the biological and biomedical sciences.
