Program Description
Our Physical Education program applies knowledge from the biosciences, social sciences and humanities to study a broad range of issues related to human movement. This program provides students with a broadly based understanding of physical education and allows maximum opportunity for students to pursue various combinations of courses within their particular areas of interest. Our curriculum encourages diversity and inclusive involvement in physical activity, as well as promoting health and wellness through physical education. You will study human movement through theoretical and practical investigations of movement forms, with significant personal movement experience included. A degree in Physical Education will prepare you to be a leader in education, research, and professional service. Brock is one of a limited number of universities in Canada to meet national accreditation standards, as set out by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators.
