Program Description

Integrative public relations combines courses and expertise from three departments — Journalism, Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, and Communication — and electives from departments throughout the university to create a comprehensive yet flexible program designed to prepare you for a successful public relations career. Organizations of all kinds — from global companies to local nonprofits — rely on their relationships with the stakeholders to survive and succeed. Public relations professionals are the talented communicators who manage those relationships. They're creative problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments. They're both able to execute major initiatives that require months or years of planning and nimbly respond to unplanned events.
