Program Description
Issues such as child abuse, cybercrime, human trafficking, modern slavery and smuggling are high on the global agenda. Protecting vulnerable children and adults from exploitation often involves working collaboratively across international borders with multiple agencies – from the police to the judiciary, customs and excise, and internet service providers. The aim of this course is to help you become a safeguarding specialist who is socio-politically aware, adaptable and responsive in recognising international safeguarding issues. It’s an ideal professional development opportunity for any who’s involved in the protection of people in a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency working environment.
