Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) have a vital role within the contemporary perioperative team, working in this exciting and dynamic environment, ODPs require in-depth knowledge and skills in areas such as anatomy and physiology, surgical and anesthetic procedures, legal and ethical issues, and teamwork.
