Program Description

The current mental health and wellbeing landscape is dynamic and evolving as it adapts and responds to the changing world around us and the mental health needs of individuals, communities and societies. This course explores the social determinants of mental health and wellbeing, the roots of inequality, the need for social justice for those experiencing mental ill-health and how contemporary mental health practice can channel the positive benefits of social connection to help individuals build happy, healthy lives.
