Program Description
The purpose of this interdisciplinary program is to enable and empower a new generation of leader practitioners focused on Disaster/Emergency Management and National Security. This graduate program trains students to respond effectively to urgent societal problems, ranging from weather-related emergencies to attacks on critical infrastructure. Graduates of this program will be equipped with cutting edge theoretical tools necessary to analyze the broad spectrum of threats that societies face in the 21st century, as well as the practical skills necessary to implement and lead an emergency response process.

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
