BA Film Production with Foundation Year Canterbury Christ Church University

Program Description

A foundation year helps you develop the study skills and self-confidence needed for higher education when you don’t reach the entry requirements for your subject. Our Film Production course will provide you with the mix of technical, production and business skills you need to work in the creative industries. You’ll use a range of digital cameras including Canon, Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro and the Arri Alexa Mini LF (used in the BAFTA best British winning film, 1917). Other equipment includes Steadicam, Mix Pre-3 (portable sound recorders) and a range of lighting. Post Production facilities include AVID Media Composer. You’ll also have access to Pro-Tools and the full Adobe Creative Suite. Regular visits from working professionals offer up-to-the-minute insights into the industry.
