Program Description

UFV is proud to offer the Fraser Valley's first Bachelor of FineArts degree. This fouryear program is dynamic and interdisciplinary, offering a Visual Arts major, as well as minors and extended minors in Art History, Creative Writing, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Media & Communications Studies, and Theatre. Students are given the tools for various modes of artistic production through a curriculum that is sensitive to the social and political issues that affect today's creative marketplace. Interactive experiences such as gallery and performing arts tours, lectures by visiting artists and industry professionals, and exhibition and performance opportunities enhance classroom and studio education.
