Our social science major brings together courses from across the disciplines to build your skills as a critical thinker and creative problem solver. This major is ideal for students with broad interests in the social sciences. You'll gain insights into how individuals and societies behave. You can tailor your major with concentrated study in sociology, history, political science, geography or economics. And you'll explore the connections among these disciplines and others. In the classroom, you can dive deep into topics as diverse as communications, entrepreneurship, environmental policy, leadership and military science. Beyond the classroom, you can practice your leadership skills in student groups such as Model UN and Mock Trial Association.
