Program Description

The earth’s physical features, resources and climate (e.g., landforms, water, storms); interactions between humans and the natural environment; geographic analysis of culture, economic development, gender, history, politics, recreation and tourism; demography, and rural and urban geography; distribution of plants and animals (biogeography); cartography; remote sensing and spatial data analysis using geographic information systems (GIS); fieldwork methods, data collection and statistical analysis.
