Program Description

This degree is perfect if you wish to progress on to teaching but also have an interest in history; or if you’re thinking of teaching history at secondary school level or above. The Education aspect of this course will give you an in-depth understanding of educational theories, policies and practice. You’ll apply these to past and present educational issues. The History aspect features strong elements of local, national and international history. You’ll cover North American, European, Asian and African history from political, social and cultural perspectives, as well as getting fascinating insights into the world of museums and heritage.
