Check My EligibilityAt UWindsor, you can pursue studies in mathematics, statistics, mathematics and computer science, mathematics and education, mathematics and finance or combine math with any other major, for example, music or physics. Our programs include a core of rigorous courses in mathematics and statistics designed to give you a solid foundation in the theory and techniques required to enhance critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. You will appreciate the beauty and ubiquitous application of mathematics. Our program structure allows every student to explore a wide variety of courses outside of mathematics. For example, in year one you will take four math courses, two computer science courses, and four other courses in any subject for which you have an interest. You will enjoy exceptional access to faculty and individual attention due to small class size. You will have access to opportunities to engage in undergraduate research. Beginning second year, you may have the chance to work one-on-one with faculty on research during the academic year through the Outstanding Scholars’ program, and during the summer you can compete for NSERC undergraduate summer research awards.
