Program Description
The Interior Decorating and Visual Display program readies you for an exciting career in the design industry. You will discover colour, paint, fabrics, and more as you learn the art of interior design. We train on the latest cutting-edge software and share strategies on how to display merchandise to promote consumer interest and increase sales. Our teachers are industry experts who have real world experience. They work with you, guiding you step by step through the program’s learning modules. Students are encouraged to work independently and in groups. Practical workshops, hands-on training, and project based learning prepare you with a broad range of skills to transition into a design career. Our in-class learning is complemented by our student placement program, which gives you the opportunity to work with successful designers and gain firsthand experience. Students leave our program with a portfolio of work which gives them an edge as they enter the design field. We are the only program in Quebec that complements interior design with visual display. The program is also an excellent choice for self starters looking to launch their own design business.
