Program Description

Political science studies power— who holds it, how it is exercised, how you can influence and gain access to power, and how our lives are influenced by politicians, bureaucrats, and other politically important institutions (including the courts, the Constitution, domestic and international organizations, etc.) and individuals. This program introduces you to political, economic, social and environmental issues in Canada and around the world. UWindsor offers students the unique opportunity to learn about Canadian and international politics in a city that borders the United States and presents many contemporary comparative US/ Canadian public policy research options. Professors have first-hand expertise in both US and Canadian politics.
