Program Description

Students in the marketing specialization take a common body of marketing courses beyond the College of Business core. In addition, elective courses allow each student to tailor his or her studies to a particular area of interest. Students are encouraged to work with the department head to choose these electives. The marketing profession needs men and women who can think logically and creatively. This growing job sector affects virtually every business and industry, helping to create and fill customer demand for the products and services they need. Marketing is also a specialty that has evolved dramatically in the past couple of decades with the advent of digital communications. At AUM, you’ll master the skills and knowledge you’ll need to appeal to customers in the constantly changing business environment. Your degree will equip you for a variety of careers in marketing management, marketing research, advertising and promotion, and sales.
