Program Description

If you want to learn how to create powerful messages that deliver real influence; create podcasts and videos, and produce social media campaigns with impact – then this is the course for you. Our media, journalism and communications courses were ranked 10th in the UK for teaching and 3rd in the UK for academic support according to the National Student Survey 2023. If you feel strongly about climate change or social equality, or you want to understand the nature of celebrity and power, this course will give you the knowledge and the practical skills to turn your interests into your profession. You’ll take a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at the fast-moving world of communications. We’ll give you the toolkit to produce compelling public relations campaigns; the confidence and expertise to handle a communications crisis, and the skills to create effective social media content. Under the guidance of our expert teaching team, you’ll develop new skills in video production and podcasting alongside copywriting and strategic planning. You’ll graduate prepared to launch into an exciting career in communications.
