Program Description
Your journey to becoming a qualified architect begins here on our fully validated and accredited BA (Hons) Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 1) degree course at UCA Canterbury. Within a lively, progressive and creative environment, you’ll be designing new buildings and considering the world around you from the outset. On this course, we'll challenge you to become highly skilled in technical drawing and design. You’ll also be encouraged to consider how architecture can have a wider impact on the world – from its immediate surroundings and social contexts, right through to the human body. Architecture is an ever-evolving subject and, in the fast-paced construction industry, there will always be a need for professionals who can provide innovative solutions to the new and undiscovered challenges. You’ll benefit from dedicated studios, master a wealth of industry-grade technology and apparatus, and have the use of our cutting-edge Tracklab virtual reality studio so you can begin your career in architecture with the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to thrive.
