Program Description

The BSc (Hons) Geography program at the University of Portsmouth encompasses both physical geography and human geography. It explores the Earth's landscapes, environments, and the relationships between people and the planet. The program offers real-world fieldwork experience in locations such as Wales, the Swiss Alps, and Morocco. It also teaches students the use of specialized mapping and data analysis tools, skills useful for employability. The course involves optional pathways such as exploring destinations like Uganda, Tanzania, Croatia, or the Isle of Wight. It is a three-year, full-time program with an optional placement year.
