Program Description
The UK stands to benefit significantly from adopting Industry 4.0 technologies and processes, while the country needs a skilled engineering workforce to reach a national target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Studying our engineering master’s course will arm you with the essential knowledge to meet this need, enabling you to develop an advanced understanding of innovative and exciting technologies such as cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), nano and bio technologies and sustainable engineering. In addition, you will learn core business and management principles and how to utilise technical, financial and human resources effectively.
As part of our postgraduate engineering course, you will be able to develop your practical skills in our outstanding engineering facilities on campus. University College Birmingham is also a partner of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Institute of Technology (GBSIoT), providing a wealth of additional resources and facilities to support your studies.
