Program Description
The BSc Honours Biochemistry program at the University of Westminster is a three- or four-year undergraduate course that examines the chemical processes and substances which occur within living organisms. This degree provides a sound understanding of the molecular mechanisms that underpin biological processes, with the fourth year allowing students to specialize in their areas of interest. Throughout the degree, students acquire hands-on practical skills in the laboratory, undertake research projects, and gain an in-depth understanding of biochemistry. The course offers modules covering areas such as genetics, cellular biochemistry, medical biochemistry, and diseases, among others. Students will have access to state-of-the-art facilities.
