Program Description
The Master of Adult Education degree is a self-directed, distance learning program which is of interest to candidates from a wide variety of career areas. The program provides a professional development opportunity for students involved in, or interested in, a wide range of activities such as corporate education, health promotion, literacy, community development, religious education, continuing education, and post-secondary education. A specific Community Development stream is available for students who wish to pursue adult education research in various areas of community development, including international and rural studies.

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
