Program Description

This two-year program includes both traditional classes, and ground and flight training. Students graduate with a FAA certification as a private pilot, commercial pilot with instrument rating and as a flight instructor. The Aviation Technology program with a Fixed Wing emphasis goals are to prepare students for FAA certification as a commercial pilot with an instrument rating, and as a certified flight instructor. In addition, the program offers opportunities to enhance knowledge and expertise in the field of aviation by improving technical skills. Successful completion of the Aviation Technology program will also help prepare AAS students for bachelor's programs in aviation technology.
