Program Description

In one of the only programs of its kind in Canada, Cultural Studies students explore critical cultural issues, media-related tendencies, art and its diverse landscape, and film. Through a range of courses you’ll be engaged in visual arts, cultural theory, media, film, theatre, music, and creative writing. In this program, you will learn to question and analyze the notion of culture itself, to decode its complex systems of messages, and ultimately, understand how culture finds meaning in our everyday lives.
