Program Description

The Master of Adult Education and Community Engagement (MAECE) degree is intended to prepare individuals for specialized educational roles in adult training institutions. Some specialized areas of theory and practice within the field of adult education and community development include: lifelong learning adult basic education community based learning & engagement adult & family literacy professional and continuing education distance education informal and non-formal education comparative education post-secondary education intergenerational learning social advocacy & action labour education Students may complete this degree in one of three program routes: Thesis Project Course
