Program Description
The BA in Social Sciences encourages students to engage in a broad range of fields pertaining to the complexities of human interaction. The Faculty offers undergraduate courses in child and youth studies, communication, economics, environmental sustainability, film studies, geography and tourism studies, labour studies, linguistics, political science, popular culture, psychology, sociology, and women’s and gender studies. The fifteen-credit BA in Social Sciences enables students to select classes from across these areas while also completing context credits and electives from other Faculties at Brock, assembling a program of study across disciplines that is individually tailored.

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in.
