Program Description

Students in the music program at Hartwick enjoy close mentoring and a collaborative atmosphere where students and faculty perform, study, and learn together.Close student-faculty interaction allows students the opportunity to conduct individual research and performance projects, whether at the Library of Congress or the University of Vienna, Austria. Hartwick students are afforded many opportunities for teaching and performance, both at the College and throughout the region. If you’re interested in pursuing a full or part time career in music – whatever your background – this minor is for you. Whether you’re behind the scenes or on the stage, this program will give you the versatility you need to break into and succeed in the music industry.
