Program Description

HPU’s MSN-AGACNP program prepares students to become critical-care experts as adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioners (AGACNPs). With a flexible schedule that includes core courses, practicums, and capstone options, MSN-AGACNP students have the opportunity to enhance the communities around them while becoming the next generation of healthcare leaders. As Hawaii’s first MSN-AGACNP program, we proudly feature faculty experienced in a variety of settings including medical-surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, operating room, surgical intensive care, internal medicine, and ambulatory care. This allows students to develop their specialization in acute care through hands-on learning in applied practice settings.
