Program Description
The BSc Honours Architecture and Environmental Design program at the University of Westminster is geared towards equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to shape the built environment for the 21st century. The course gives students the ability to design buildings and urban spaces that add value to their immediate environment while also considering wider global environmental issues. Students gain an understanding of the role of architecture within society and the responsibilities of the architect in the designing and construction process. In addition to design studies, the course modules cover technological, historical, theoretical and practical subjects. Students are also offered the opportunity for hands-on, practical experience through the university's strong network with industries and professional bodies.
