Program Description

This course is being reapproved under the University’s normal cycle of review. As such, the course structure and content may be changed to enable the University to deliver a better quality of educational experience to students. A vast range of specialist modules and topics are available to suit your areas of interest: politics and policy; race, racism and society; researching social inequality; relational practice; safeguarding children and young people; mental health and social care; working with domestic abuse; drugs and society; poverty, exclusion and social justice; crime and society; and many more. The second year of the programme provides an opportunity for you to link your academic learning to real-world practice through a practical ‘Structured Work Experience’ requirement.
