How to perform tasks in the following areas: DNA analysis using electrophoresis, and PCR (polymerase chain reaction) Protein analysis using electrophoresis, blotting and chromatography Micropipetting, extractions, titrations, centrifugation and pH measurements using GLP (good laboratory practices) Instrumentation including spectrometry Basic techniques in microbiology
