Program Description

Recognised by industry professionals, this degree delivers "strong emphasis on practical and vocational development" (Diarmid Scrimshaw, Producer ‘Tyrannosaur’) and prepares “exceptionally professional” students (Derrin Schlesinger, Producer, ‘This is England’, ‘Four Lions’, ‘Babylon’). Our course offers scope to develop both personal creative expression and professional level skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through the success of this progressive programme we have seen students and graduates regularly appear in the credits of major TV and cinema releases. Our Film Production students have been Oscar nominated in 2014 and won the Royal Television Society awards more times than any other university in the North West.
