Program Description

The BA in Ancient History and History offers courses ranging from ancient Greece and Rome to the modern world, and over a wide geographical area, including Britain, Europe, the Mediterranean and Asia. Many students find joint honours degrees both stimulating and rewarding as they observe similarities and differences between the two subjects. Often there are complementary issues and perspectives and skills that link the subjects, be they critical analysis, historical contexts or recent research.
