Program Description

Chemistry is the study of the complex molecular world. Everything is chemistry, from drugs and modern materials to light-emitting bulbs that illuminate our lives. In our Chemistry program, you'll learn to develop processes and products, and gain insight to how these are shaped by environmental, cultural and economic issues. Chemistry touches every aspect of our lives. The study of the complex molecular world, a world that exists at the submicroscopic level, is a discipline of enormous scope. Chemical research has produced innovations in agriculture, industry, health care and consumer goods. Today, chemistry is concerned with developing processes and products that will be the least harmful to the environment.
