Program Description

Humber's Academic Upgrading (AU) certificate program, offered at Humber's North Campus, is a free program that will give you the opportunity to become comfortable in a college environment while helping you to improve your essential English, math, and computer skills. You may choose to gain basic biology and chemistry knowledge in lab-based environments. Academic Upgrading is an Employment Ontario program, funded by the Ministry of Trades, Colleges and Universities. The faculty and staff in the program are committed to helping Academic Upgrading students form a clearer picture of their educational and career goals and determine the steps needed to reach those goals. The AU program also offers students assistance in: - developing individualized training plans - defining career and educational goals - finding support and resources that lead to success
