Program Description

If you are passionate about how education has shaped your life and wider issues facing the world, and believe it is vital to address topics such as sustainability and social justice, then Education Studies is for you. Our course explores some big questions underpinning education through the lens of politics, psychology, sociology, economics, history and philosophy. You’ll engage with the issues that influence approaches to learning and will compare education systems in a variety of countries and cultures. You'll also have opportunities to get out of the University and look at ideas in practice in schools and elsewhere.
