Check My EligibilityAt Laurier, we have designed a program that stresses the need for better understandings of the key role that gender plays in our lives, including how it is linked to other categories such as class, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, age, ability and Indigeneity. Women and Gender Studies courses go beyond offering a range of skills for analyzing the world; we help you find ways to change it. Social justice and equity issues are emphasized throughout our program and we stress attention to both local and global issues. Many courses are framed from within a transnational focus, exploring issues extending beyond Canada’s borders. Courses in masculinity studies, Indigeneity and the environment encourage relevant and current issues to be discussed and dissected in the classroom.

International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
