Program Description
Midwifery is about providing care to women, birthing people and families at one of the most important times of their lives. A midwife is usually the first and main contact for the family during pregnancy, throughout labour and in the period following the birth of the baby. As a qualified midwife, you’ll be responsible for providing care and supporting women and birthing people to make informed choices about their care. You’ll benefit from a case-based approach to learning, where you will learn how to adapt your specialist knowledge to each individual circumstances and wishes, resulting in a more positive experience. At the end of this degree programme, which is divided between academic study and clinical practical, you will be professionally registered as a midwife.
