Program Description

These high demand programs attract ambitious and qualified students from Canada and around the world and feature a hands-on work integrated learning opportunity, providing real world management experience – giving our students a competitive edge in the job market after graduation. The Master of Management program offers three unique course-based streams.One of them is Our Strategic Change Management stream, which is only offered at our Durham campus, is the first of its kind in Canada, offering graduate students the opportunity to delve deeper into such areas of focus as negotiation and conflict resolution, crisis management, and decision making. The program prepares graduates for professional managerial careers in a rapidly evolving business environment, in which organizations must continually assess the need for strategic realignment, and develop and successfully implement effective and efficient strategies for change. The program is 16-months in length, and is divided into four 4-month terms. Students take four courses in each of the first three terms, followed by a workplace internship in the fourth term. International students must complete the program as a full-time student to be eligible for a work permit. Domestic students have the option to complete the program on a full-time or part-time basis.

Study and Work in Canada

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
